Wahaj Ali

Wahaj Ali is a Pakistani actor, born in Lahore, Pakistan. He graduated from the University of Central Punjab with a degree in finance before pursuing a career in acting. He worked at Samaa TV as a assistant producer and then as a producer at GEO TV. He made his debut in the entertainment industry with the drama serial “Mera Dard Na Jane Koi” in 2015, which earned him critical acclaim and a loyal fan base. He has since appeared in numerous popular dramas such as “Ishq Ibadat,” “Haiwan,”, “Bikhray Moti” and “Tere Bin”. Wahaj is known for his versatile acting skills and his ability to bring depth and authenticity to his characters. He has also won several awards, including the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 9th Hum Awards for his role in “Ehd-e-Wafa.” Outside of acting, Wahaj is also a skilled cricketer and enjoys playing the sport in his free time.
Early life and family
Ali was born on 1 December 1988 into a Punjabi Muslim family in Lahore, Punjab. His father worked in the government, and his mother was a teacher. The only child of his parents, Ali is a business graduate, with a specialization in finance.
Ali then earned his Masters in Multimedia Arts from the National College of Arts. He met his wife, Sana Farooq, during an internship program on Samaa TV and married on 2nd March, 2016. The couple had a daughter in 2017, Amirah Ali.
TV debut and success (2015–present)
Saad Hussein in ARY Digital’s romantic drama Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha opposite Hania Aamir and especially due to his portrayal of Murtasim Shahnawaz Khan in Geo Tv’s record breaking romance drama serial Tere Bin opposite his previous co-star Yumna Zaidi.
Also seen in ARY Digital’s drama titled Mein where he’s portraying Zaid Shahwani, opposite Ayeza Khan. The first episode received mixed reviews and Ali’s performance was well-received.
